8. introducing zara hart

Now you’ve gone and left me all alone
I slowly makin’ my way back home
empty chair the bedroom bare
a curl of lightly fallen hair
nothing in the frigidaire
ripening fruit and cupboards bare
half a cup of breakfast tea
you took the cat
I’m nobody without you

i have known zara for over 9 years and was totally aware of her visual abilities – photographing portraits and flowers for the past years, she is now following her other passion – writing and poetry. i thought that this piece is so poignant and simply beautiful.
