tate modern

you have to go and see the tate modern with its new extension – it seems to more than double the size of the gallery;  at first it seems strange to see the pyramid brick clad exterior, but the interior is definitely striking and impressive – harking back to brutalist concrete days, its quite like the hayward gallery with its concrete shuttered walls and staircases.   the view from the top balcony is very impressive, though what is disappointing is that when you are in the restaurant sat down, the windows are not at sitting level, so you dont get that spectacular london view.  can’t wait for the georgia o’keefe to start.
