such a lovely nostalgic thing to do – spend a birthday evening with all your girlfriends at a magical village green circus! its a nostalgic trip down memory lane with tents, white horses, dressing up boxes and all the simple clean fun that you remember from your childhood, but without the cruelty to the animals. . chiswick was a great location and the intimacy of a small cicus ring made the whole evening special. there is a restaurant, ‘circus sauce’ that you can book for after performance dinner, but we chose to have a picnic instead with delicious interval pizzas that we ordered in advance. fun for all ages from 2 to 100. look out for Giffords Circus.

Oh dear I am so jealous. Hadn’t realised they had come this far afield. Hopefully they will again next year so I can experience Giffords too.
