go and see the multi talented works of Sonia Delauney – this prolific artist worked endlessly right unto her nineties; some of her landscapes remind me of Paul Klee. i particularly loved her patchwork textiles. i always forget how beautiful and grandiose tate britain is, the vast classical spaces are a wonderful backdrop for some of the modern installations, especially the intriguing and serenely moving pigmented suspended nets by Christina Mackie
view the old silver print early photographs of the exhibition salt and silver – makes me want to use film all over again and the beautiful prints of recycling plants by Nick Waplington as part of his photographs showing the working process of alexander mcqueen. by the way there is a one day course in cyanotype at the working mens college which i have booked onto.
