stumbled on a little shop on englands lane NW3 selling useful little things – i bought a vintage bread tin for a friend who loves baking bread, a sample of earth born paint and a tin box for storage – ecora is primarily a stockist for eco friendly flooring, but stocks other quality goods for the home.

houzz is a good online shop for everything to do with the home – they seem to cover all areas of the house, including storage – which we are definitely lacking in.  after 20 years of living her, we have finally decided to  build some wardrobes in alfie’s room; i have found that its much more economical to buy the baskets and drawers from ikea for the inside of the wardrobes, then build your own doors.  i dont know why, but whenever i end up in ikea, i come home with bags of stuff that i really didn’t need!  what ikea is good at are storage boxes and basic kitchen accessories.
