my daughter alice has raved to me about tin can cafe – a pop up restaurant serving only the best tinned seafood. masterminded by the architect Amanda Levete, the idea came from a visit to lisbon where amanda visited a restaurant selling just this. the tins not only come from portugal, but spain, iceland and iran. it really sounds intriguing and is on my list of places to visit. in a time when organic and fresh is become the craze, it seems hard to believe that tinned fish would prove to be popular.
