east coast dining

it was a beautiful day to eat lunch by the sea – we took the kids, both back from their travels to meet their godparents who own a lovely caravan down there at east coast dining rooms.  this is Hamish Stuarts new restaurant, a more refined menu compared to his latter pub dinners – a bit more experimental, but very tasty. its  about a 10 minute walk to Tankerton from the fish market, its perfectly situated away from the hustle and bustle of the high street in August.   i still love whitstable, and fortunately the traffic was kind to us and we managed to get there without being stuck in the blackwall tunnel.

apparently a nice place to stay is the marine hotel – have to get the room with the sea view though.
