cooking is not my thing, (another of my resolutions for this year is to cook a recipe a week from one of the many cookery books that we seem to collect), but fortunately my husband does most of the cooking; however my daughter seems to have an obsession with baking – in the last 2 weeks, her repertoire has widened and especially since she got new baking gadgets for xmas – alfie bought her a blow torch that looks very dangerous but fun. so last night we had creme brulee for dessert – the problem now is our waistlines! the victoria sandwich was for my birthday, the chocolate log for xmas, the cheesecake was for our xmas party and the bread was just for sheer fun - are all 13 year old girls like this?
one of my all time favourite shops is books for cooks - not only is there a wide selection of books, but some great and affordable cookery classes too – there’s a fab detox one in january and courses for kids in the school holidays too.
Very professional, you won’t need to employ a food stylist in the future!
