rosa and ginger

went to see rosa and ginger at one of my favourite cinemas – the renoir.  its a film about 2 young girls- lifelong friends and their encounter with growing up, sexual realisation,  and the political issues of the times.  set in 1962, its a beautifully shot film and the girls are pretty convincing.  its not groundbreaking, but an enjoyable film for a late afternoon on a saturday with a girlfriend.   close by is the  store street expresso store, which is a nice stopping place.  i find that tottenham court road has very little nice meeting places, mainly chain coffee stores, so its nice to find an independent.
