so alice has moved to columbia road from new cross – further to get to uni, but closer for her to get home after a nights socialising – so we know where her priorities lie. i actually dont mind the journey, i am ferrying pots and pans, clothes and books at the moment – it brings back memories from my own student life when my mother drove me up and down from manchester with my possessions too – isnt that what mothers are for? i love the area myself, and so alice may find me on her doorstep every sunday when i stock up on flowers from the flower market.
