i didnt expect to see so many frozen yoghurt and ice cream shops around new york city, but i guess the heat makes it a welcome cooling aid.
il laboratorio del gelato has that clinical look of a dentist, but its many unusual flavours of sorbet and ice cream make deciding what flavour to get a hard task – robert picked the rose petal and hazlenut ice cream and i went for the lime and peach sorbet. on the contrary, big gay ice cream shop had few choices and was a small home made eatery – famous for its salty pimp ice cream (with its crunchy choc outing, sea salt and dulche de leche, this vanilla ice cream is a meal in itself )and ice pops made of cucumber and mint, coconut and fruit!
