one of our good friends Michael took his daughters to havana for the week, they had a great time despite preconceptions of bad food, crime on the streets and nothing to do for children. of course we gave them our suggestions, which they loved and then they came back with a couple more recommendatons - restaurant el alijibe in mirimar, and restaurant la esperanza – they loved both of them. as i use this blog as a personal address book, i thought it perfect to add for any future visits – i cant wait to go there again. loved the book sellers in plaza de armas, mostly selling books about che guevara.
