today is maundy thursday – the day of the last supper – and the start of the 3 day celebration of easter - from the last supper, the crucifixion of Jesus, and the resurrection. easter is a big holiday weekend, and today in cornwall, it was the hottest day of this year. the fields of bluebells are just stunning – the landscape is forever mesmerising. we took the ferry from padstow over to rock and along to lundy bay from polzeath and here we found the stunning fields of bluebells.

Hello Christina – it’s been a while since we were in touch! My friend Jill is going to No 6 The Castle with her family and my other friend Jane and her lot – I raved about it and they’ve booked! I’m very envious. Jill and I are building a Yorkshire foodie’s website – check it out, let me know what you think. I love your pictures of the bluebells by the sea – they’ve all just come out here too, the hills are covered in them. Anyway, I hope this finds you well, and that we get to have that cuppa in Manchester some day! I was there the other day (and blogged Teacup & Cakes on Thomas Street – my favourite place!)
